Reserved Picnic Sites at Storrs Pond
Storrs Pond Recreation Area offers three covered Picnic Pavilions and one large grassy area for rent for picnic events from Mid-May until Mid-September.
Area One Pavilion has a roof-only picnic shelter that will accommodate up to 300 patrons. At this location are three large charcoal BBQ grills, electrical outlets for music, lights under the Pavilion, swimming from the nearby beach, volleyball nets set up for games and large trashcans. Approximately 40 picnic tables are located under the Pavilion. Storrs Pond will carry away your trash and used coals after your event.
The site fee is $5 per person to attend your event (minimum charge $125). Reservations must be made in advance.
The Dimick Pavilion is a roof-only picnic shelter that will accommodate up to 40 patrons. At this location is one large charcoal BBQ grill, electricity, lights and swimming at the nearby main beach. Playground equipment for the younger children is very close at hand, volleyball net and trashcans are provided. This pavilion is the perfect size for a small birthday party or family get-together.

Area 5 Pavilion has the capacity to hold up to 500 participants. It has a roof-only pavilion with approximately 40 picnic tables underneath. There is no electricity at this site. There are three large charcoal BBQ grills, volleyball net and large lawn area for playing games or other activities.

The Main Area is located beside the pool. There is no covered pavilion, however, it is a large lawn area with a BBQ grill located on either end of the lawn. There is electricity at the site and water.
This area rents for $5 per person to attend your event (minimum charge $125). Storrs Pond staff will carry away your trash and used coals. Third party vendors may help you by providing a tent for your event. Reservations for the site must be made in advance.
