Since 1935, families have been enjoying it’s beautiful surroundings while embracing all the area has to offer.
Come spend the day with us and enjoy a swim in our pool, take a refreshing dip in the pond, or cool off in our fun and exciting splash pad. Hanover Improvement Society
Storrs Pond Recreation Area is proudly owned and operated by the Hanover Improvement Society, a local non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to providing good works to the people of Hanover and the entire Upper Valley Community. The Hanover Improvement Society also operates the Nugget Theaters, showing first-run movies on Main Street in Hanover, and the nearby James Campion Skating Rink.
The Nugget Theater
The Nugget Theaters is a movie theater open year round with four screens showing first-run movies located in Hanover, NH.
Campion Rink
The indoor ice rink is located in West Lebanon, NH, just a few minutes from the Town of Hanover. Public skating and open stick hockey is available seasonally.
Storrs Pond
We offer two sandy beaches for swimming in Storrs Pond, a pool, four tennis courts, basketball 1/2 court, beach volleyball, pavilion rentals, campsites, watercraft rental, and so much more. Open seasonally.
