Pool, Pond, Swim Lessons and More!

Storrs Pond Recreation Area offers a beautiful swimming pool complete with a bathhouse and snack bar, making it a perfect place to spend a summer day.

During periods of unpredictable weather, please check our website or call our office to confirm that the pool is open.

There is a sandy beach with a roped-off area in the shallow end of the pond. No lifeguards are on duty at the pond so please be diligent in watching your children. Beach toys are available to share on the sandy beach, and shady trees surround the grassy area if you want to get out of the sun. A beach volleyball court is available for all to enjoy, along with a playground.

Swim Lessons

Storrs Pond Recreation Area offers instructional swim lessons on a group or individual basis. Lessons are offered for children and adults of all ages and abilities. Instructors are certified Water Safety Instructors.
